$28M is half measure for Malibu home once owned by Academy Award-winning composer 

A Malibu home reportedly next to Barbra Streisand sold for $28.1 million in what works out to be one of the city’s priciest recorded deals this year, The Real Deal has learned.  The home at 6825 Zumirez Drive, which is just a few minutes by foot to Streisand’s compound, equates to $4,869 per square foot. The transaction closed last week.   Suzanne Zimmer, who was previously married to award-winning composer Hans Zimmer, was the seller.
