JMB adds another pre-lease as prime Century City office tower nears completion
Los Angeles–based Atar Capital is expanding its footprint in Century City, relocating its headquarters across the street to what is considered Southern California’s most expensive office tower. The private investment firm signed a lease for about 11,000 square feet at 1950 Avenue of the Stars, a 37‑story building nearing completion, the Commercial Observer reported. The new digs are more than triple the size of Atar’s current offices at 1999 Avenue of the Stars, signaling the firm’s growth and commitment to the Century City market. While neither Atar nor landlord JMB Realty disclosed lease terms, a deal of that size at roughly $10 per square foot per month would equate to about $1.3 million annually, the Commercial Observer noted.
