Nearly 100 units, 3.5K sf retail to rise across from new Apple Mid-City campus
A mixed-use residential development is slated to rise across the street from Apple’s forthcoming office complex in Mid-City, bordering the edge of Culver City. An application filed with the Los Angeles Department of City Planning calls for replacing existing small commercial and residential buildings at 8871-8879 West Venice Boulevard with a seven-story building containing nearly 100 units, Urbanize Los Angeles reported. An entity known as Venice Apple Project LLC is proposing the project, though city documents list the developer as CityPads, a Chicago-based development firm, per Urbanize.
