Bascom buys Buena Park apartments for $53M as OC market sees more big-ticket sales
The Bascom Group has added another Southern California apartment property to its collection. The Irvine-based real estate firm acquired the Castlewood Park Apartments at 6968 Campus Drive in Buena Park for $53.1 million, Commercial Observer reported. The deal for the 183-unit property works out to $290,200 per unit. Huntington Beach-based Newcastle Enterprise Limited was the seller, unloading the property after more than three decades of ownership, the Orange County Business Journal reported. Brian Eisendrath, Cameron Chalfant, Jesse Zarouk and Jake Vitta of Marcus & Millichap’s Institutional Property Advisors arranged the financing for the deal.
