Blackstone unloads Huntington Beach retail center a year after buying
A grocery-anchored shopping center in Huntington Beach has traded hands in the region’s latest retail property sale. Westwood Financial acquired the Peninsula Marketplace at 19021-19125 Goldenwest Street in Huntington Beach from Blackstone for an undisclosed price, Citybiz reported. Blackstone acquired Peninsula Marketplace in early 2025 as part of a $275 million deal for eight shopping centers across Orange County. That transaction also included 5 Points Plaza in Huntington Beach. Peninsula Marketplace was the priciest individual property in that transaction, trading for $40 million.
