Disney drops $115M on Yamaha HQ near Anaheim
The Walt Disney Company’s wish upon a star for more space in Orange County has come true. Walt Disney Parks and Resorts U.S. purchased the former Yamaha Motor Corporation U.S.A. headquarters in Orange County for $115.3 million, the Orange County Register reported. Yamaha’s U.S. headquarters were at the 25-acre campus at 6555 Katella Avenue in Cypress beginning in 1979. The company will continue to lease back the property through the end of 2028 before relocating to Kennesaw, Georgia.
