East Hollywood to get 76-unit affordable project in place of 4 single-family homes 

East Hollywood is poised to gain another batch of affordable housing as the city moves toward achieving its state-mandated housing goals.  Four homes at 1058 North Kingsley Drive have been proposed for demolition and replacement with a five-story residential building by property owner and applicant Shahar Gil, Urbanize Los Angeles reported. Gil filed plans with the Los Angeles Department of City Planning for a 76-unit complex without on-site parking.  The developer is seeking bonuses through the Citywide Housing Incentive Program.
