Engine looks to reposition Beastie Boys legacy into retail hotspot in Atwater Village
Engine Real Estate is repositioning a retail block in Los Angeles’ Atwater Village into what it hopes will become a neighborhood destination for food, wellness, creative production and live music. The investment outfit, which owns real estate in Los Angeles and Napa Valley, purchased the 14,500-square-foot space for around $10 million in a recent off-market deal.
