Glorya Kaufman estate in Beverly Hills trades hands for $19M
A Beverly Hills home tied to a recently deceased philanthropist has sold for nearly $20 million. The mansion at 1140 Laurel Way that served as the longtime home of late philanthropist Glorya Kaufman sold for $19.3 million, Mansion Global reported. Kaufman bought the home in 2012 for $18.2 million and lived there until her death last year at age 95. The compound was listed for sale in June for $25 million, and the sale closed on Tuesday with a more than $5 million haircut.
