Hackman’s new CFO carries SoCal cred
Michael Hackman’s outfit has tapped a new CFO: David Felman. Felman comes with SoCal cred, having previously served as chief financial officer of the late UCLA benefactor and Kayne Anderson Rudnick cofounder John Anderson’s eponymous holding company for real estate and private equity investments. The appointment of Felman comes as Hackman Capital Partners sorts through some money problems in the form of hundreds of millions of dollars of defaults on studio and creative office loans and lender takeovers in Los Angeles.
