Inglewood inches closer to demolishing retail center for transit hub
Inglewood is clearing a path for its next big infrastructure project, but more than 20 small retail tenants are in the way. The city plans to seize and demolish a low-slung retail center at Market Street and Florence Avenue through eminent domain. The move would make room for a transit hub serving the Inglewood Transit Connector, a shuttle bus network designed to move event crowds between the nearby Metro K Line station and the city’s stadium district, The L.A.
