Jefferson Park is poised for more affordable mixed-use development. Mark Judaken of Kalnel Gardens LLC filed an application with the Los Angeles Department of City Planning to construct a six-story building with 35 units above 1,480 square feet of ground-floor retail at 2306 West Jefferson Boulevard, Urbanize Los Angeles reported. Besides one manager’s unit, the apartments would be designated entirely as affordable housing for rent by low- and moderate-income households.
