LA City Council allows Olympics projects skip CEQA oversight

With less than two years to go until the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles, local leaders are looking to fast-track development of temporary facilities for the city’s third Summer Games.  The Los Angeles City Council unanimously approved a plan to allow temporary Olympics-related projects to avoid California Environmental Quality Act approvals, Bisnow reported.
