LA city planners advance Tarzana mixed-use project next to 101
Los Angeles officials have given the green light to a developer’s plans to redevelop a parking lot in Tarzana into housing. The Los Angeles City Planning Commission signed off on entitlements requested by Nasser Matloob of Tarzana Collection for its planned multifamily project at 19333 Ventura Boulevard, Urbanize Los Angeles reported. The site is tucked between Ventura Boulevard and the U.S. 101 freeway. Tarzana Collection’s proposal calls for the construction of a six-story residential building featuring 46 studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments above roughly 2,500 square feet of ground-floor retail and parking for 14 vehicles.
