Landlords get day in CA Supreme Court over LA eviction threshold

The California Supreme Court has agreed to hear the Apartment Association of Greater Los Angeles’ appeal regarding its lawsuit challenging the eviction threshold of the City of Los Angeles. Legal moves concerning the city’s residential rental laws and regulations most recently ended in a partial win for the landlord advocacy group, which is now gunning for a sweeping victory by taking on the eviction threshold in California’s highest court.
