Malibu mansion listed for $48M after Kevin Garnett’s previous woes
Kevin Garnett’s former Malibu dream-house-that-wasn’t is hitting the market with a $48 million price tag after a redevelopment and years of legal drama. The retired NBA star bought the property at 27715 Pacific Coast Highway in 2003 for $6.4 million while playing for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Mansion Global reported. Garnett began building a custom mansion, but he cut a $16 million deal to sell the property before construction was finished. The buyer, developer Ando Hacopian of Hacopian Design & Development Group, never completed the deal, which included $4 million in unsecured debt provided by entities of Garnett.
