Meridian snaps up Pasadena medical offices as Cedars-Sinai, Huntington Health affiliate inks new lease
A Pasadena medical office building next to Huntington Hospital traded hands, with the new owner already having a long-term health care tenant lined up. Medical real estate developer and operator Meridian acquired the 32,052-square-foot property at 55 East California Boulevard for $13.4 million, L.A. Business First reported. The seller’s identity was not disclosed. Walnut Creek-based Meridian entered escrow in September 2025 and worked with the city to amend the property’s zoning to make medical office use possible. Pasadena approved the zoning text amendment in June, clearing a regulatory hurdle that had complicated the property’s prospects.
