Haim Saban — the Los Angeles-based billionaire behind Saban Captial Group, which includes Saban Real Estate — has shelled out the maximum contribution an individual can make to California governor candidate Xavier Becerra. Saban’s $39,200 check was filed into the Califorinia Secretary of State’s campaign finance platform on Monday.
