School’s in session: Santa Monica offices trade for $50M, poised for educational conversion
A college prep academy with two Westside locations is switching from renter to owner after acquiring an office property in Santa Monica with plans for a redevelopment. Wildwood School purchased the Ocean Park Plaza office complex at 2701 Ocean Park Boulevard for $50 million, L.A. Business First reported. Jade Enterprises was the seller, unloading the property nearly a decade after purchasing it in 2017 for $63.5 million. The offices were more than 70 percent vacant at the time of the sale.
