Slew of SoCal shopping centers trade hands as investors see promise in retail
Several retail properties in the Los Angeles region have traded hands in a string of deals. Avant Real Estate bought the Shops at Valencia shopping center in Santa Clarita for $27.5 million, L.A. Business First reported. The 120,600-square-foot retail plaza at 23126-23170 Valencia Boulevard was 80 percent occupied at the time of sale. A private Los Angeles-based investor was the seller. SRS Real Estate’s Carlos Lopez, Terrison Quinn and Tony Vuona represented the seller, while CBRE’s Ed Matevosian represented Avant Real Estate.
