State pays $50M for 16-property portfolio near UCLA
The University of California is sinking more money into Westwood with the acquisition of more than a dozen commercial properties near the University of California, Los Angeles campus. The Regents of the University of California purchased a 16-property portfolio immediately south of the UCLA campus for $49.8 million, Commercial Observer reported. The acquisition includes 181,855 square feet of retail, office and open space across roughly 2.6 acres, with properties lining Westwood Boulevard as well as Kinross Avenue, Gayley Avenue and Lindbrook Drive.
