Venice Community Housing plots affordable project in Leimert Park
A vacant lot in Leimert Park that once housed a commercial building is poised for redevelopment into affordable housing. Venice Community Housing, acting through an affiliate, filed an application with the Los Angeles Department of City Planning to erect a five-story multifamily building at 4345 South Crenshaw Boulevard, Urbanize Los Angeles reported. The plans call for 56 apartments above 1,972 square feet of ground-floor retail and parking for 11 vehicles.
