LA Planning Commission greenlights multifamily, retail project in Jefferson Park
A proposed multifamily and retail project in Jefferson Park just cleared a key hurdle to beginning development. The Los Angeles City Planning Commission approved a proposal to demolish an auto body repair shop at 2800 West Jefferson Boulevard and replace it with a six-story mixed-use building, Urbanize Los Angeles reported. Developers Steve and Hannah Lim filed an application for the project in 2024. The development will consist of 70 units in floor plans ranging from studio to three-bedroom.
