Old houses near Pasadena metro line slated for multifamily redevelopment
Two single-family homes in Pasadena are poised to be demolished to make way for multifamily housing. TJ Unity LLC and architect Steven Chen filed plans to construct a four-story building with 40 apartments at 1045-1055 Locust Street, Urbanize Los Angeles reported. The developer’s identity is hidden behind an LLC linked in state records to a UPS Store mailbox in South Pasadena. The development near the Interstate 210 freeway and Lake Station on the Metro A Line would have a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments in a 57,000-square-foot building with subterranean parking for 60 vehicles, Pasadena Now reported.
