SB 79, resi production bring sparks to Bass-Raman mayoral debate

In the first debate since before the June primary, Mayor Karen Bass and 4th District Council member Nithya Raman outlined their plans for a number of issues tied to real estate interests — and despite having many of the same ideas, the candidates showed they weren’t above personal attacks.
