Playa Vista vacant lot poised for 100% affordable housing
An empty lot in Playa Vista could get new life as affordable housing. Killefer Development filed an application with the Los Angeles Department of City Planning to construct a six-story residential building at 6985 South Centinela Avenue, Urbanize Los Angeles reported. The site is just west of the Culver City limits and Interstate 405, about two miles north of the Los Angeles International Airport. Killefer is looking to build 136 units in studio, one- and three-bedroom floor plans. Parking for 46 vehicles is also slated for the site.
